Busboys and Poets [Brunches/Dinners]

A cafe, a bookstore, a restaurant a lounge and a theater. Busboys and Poets is as close as it gets to another famous american cafe place of Manhantan NY. Lovers of theater and seakers of interactions with artists of all kind have make Busboys and Poets their favorite hangout. It is all about freedom of expression. If you haven't been there yet, you will be enchanted by what the venue has to offer.
The decor takes the best elements of chic lounge and coffeehouse and marries them nicely. It's comfortable but sleek, a combination not easily achieved. It's also a non-smoking establishment.
Busboys and Poets is making its presence known in a big way.

Josephine Buttler Parks Center [Fri 9pm-late] & [Sun 1pm, 4pm, 9pm-late]

Overlooking Meridian Hill Park, Italian Renaissance architecture of this former embassy provides a grand setting for large events with its 18,000 sq ft, 40-room. From the second floor, besides to the Grand Ballroom, the Terrace Balcony offers a beautiful western exposure to sunsets across the Meridian Hill Park.

It is free and OUTDOOR, so watch for the weather forcast that same day before heading. The idea of a putluck is that we all bring food and non-alcolic drinks and share. Plate, plastic ware and cups will be on us!

Adams Morgan
Adams Morgan is a culturally diverse neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC. Its name is derived from the names of two, formerly segregated schools: the older, all-black Thomas P. Morgan Elementary School (now defunct) and the all-white John Quincy Adams Elementary School. Since the 1960s, enduring ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity generated a full array of international shops and restaurants. Today Adams Morgan is a thriving spot for night life.

Rumberos [Brunch/Dinners]

Brand new restaurant in Columbia Heights' Tivoli Square in hopes of a spicy feast and delicious summer cocktails. This Latin American restaurant promises a full menu that represents regions throughout South and Central America and lists dishes from a seafood paella to an Argentine platter of grilled meats with chimichurri.
